Touch

Foundations Christian Academy is committed to the health, nutrition  and well being of each student.  As a TOUCH approved facility, the staff is trained on an annual basis on the current trends and issues pertaining to the wellness of children. These include matters of nutrition, obesity, physical activity and screen-time allowances. It is our desire to help children and youth develop healthy behaviors and promote healthy families.

About TOUCH:

The Transforming Our Community’s Health (TOUCH) Initiative is a true collaborative effort among more than 20 community organizations and coalitions that support efforts to reduce health disparities and improve the health and well-being of the residents, commuters, and workers of Broward County. The TOUCH Initiative is funded under the Affordable Care Act by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services’ Community Transformation Grants. The Broward Regional Health Planning Council (BRHPC) is the only grant recipient within the State of Florida.
