About FCA

Foundations Christian Academy opened its doors in 2005.  Since that time, our pursuit of academic excellence in a family-based environment is winning the attention of our community.  FCA students enjoy instruction by our professional teaching staff in small class settings.  Students learn and play in safe and stimulating classrooms and have access to a nutritious organic lunch program.   On site homework tutoring assists children with one-on-one help.  Holiday pageants, Harvest Festival, Mother’s Day Tea, Father/Daughter Dance – these FCA  traditions teach children the importance of family and the value of being part of a community.

Mission statement

For no one can lay any foundation other than the one already laid, which is Jesus Christ.  1 Cor 3:11
Mission Statement: The mission of Foundations Christian Academy is to create an environment where students will grow in their personal knowledge of God, learn to follow the teachings of Jesus and develop the cognitive, social, emotional and physical skills needed for school success. We appreciate your interest in Foundations Christian Academy (FCA). Our partnership with FCA parents prepares children for the exciting years ahead in their school experiences. Parents are invited to attend parenting workshops and Marriage Dynamics classes sponsored by the South Florida Church of Christ. Students will be taught using a combination of curriculum proven to meet the needs of individual children.

Vision Statement

It is our desire that when children complete their time at Foundations Christian Academy: They will have grown to love one another, love Jesus and know God as both Father and Creator.

We believe that parents are the most important influence on a child’s life. As such, we aim to develop a close and on- going home/school connection. It is our expectation that children will succeed academically as they develop their individual strengths and abilities. Students will be provided with age- appropriate experiences in Bible, music, art, literature, social studies, math and science.

At FCA, students develop a knowledge of healthy eating habits, personal hygiene and manners. They will be given the tools needed to develop fine and gross motor skills. Fostering confidence in a loving environment helps children know that they are worthy of being loved and respected, which is necessary for treating others with love and respect.
